Introducing new artist Bogdan Aleca aka Boni

Bogdan is a 40 year old architect who comes from a line of talented artists and musicians, he is also known by his pseudonym ‘Boni’.

Having graduated at the Ion Mincu school of architecture in Bucharest following studies at a traditional art school where he specialised in graphics, Boni designs postmodern buildings and interiors. He strives to combine traditional and modern ways of life in which he believes make a good balance between the true nature of man and his anthropic evolution.

The struggle for equity and honesty plays an important part in Boni’s philosophy of his work and life, and this is shown through both his architectural designs and artistic works.

Boni’s constant ideas and passions are released through his works in many shapes and forms such as poetry, hand graphic original drawings, digitalised art prints on canvas, hand portraits, sculpture, clay modelling and free metal embossing by hand.

Since 2010, with extravagant sincerity, Boni expresses his thoughts, uncertainties and beliefs, through his metal art works. His passion isn’t only portrayed through his visual works, but the descriptions and thoughts given to each beautiful piece.
