So Why the Online Shop?

I don’t necessarily see it as a ‘shop’, yes you can buy from it but it’s also a visual display of talent. My belief is that I can help everyone from all walks of life to experience the pleasure and enjoyment that both art and curio can bring. Just perusing the gallery can create a sense of well-being and take you away from it all for that given moment. If an item is purchased; whether it be as a gift for a loved one, to jazz up a wall/countertop or to add to a collection these pieces will live on. Be it a piece that becomes part of the household to an heirloom that can be passed down through generations, it will continue to bring life and will create a memory. Everyone deserves to own something that they can admire or feel from and Carla’s Curiosities is the place to acquire that. If a purchase isn’t made, I would be happy to know that some inspiration has been taken from the site, from being bored on a Sunday afternoon and deciding to give painting a bash to painting by numbers or even a plaster cast set- if they still exist?! Today’s world appears to be all about technology, and though fantastic art can be created in this way, for me there’s nothing like the smell of an oil paint drying on a canvas.
